Why DirectTV now SUCKS! Their chat sucks, their customer service sucks, and their website sucks! Oh, and yes their parent company ATT sucks!
Customer service sucks!
Customer service suck, their website states they are open until midnight. No, that is a lie. They close at 8pm Eastern.
Their chat sucks!
The chat system suck, I think I may have even broke it! Albeit intentional, they may need to look at refining it. So I had posted about a $260 dollar bill that I had just auto-paid; more on that later, then since the only option that seemed to work was chat which ended this way.
For me, the most recent reason they suck is because they withdrew the money with their autopay system even when they told me they were not going to do so. So what, first it was $260 dollars! Second, I had called them on December 28 and that was a mess too. Basically, they told me to try the website later, they are in progress of updating it! Have they not heard of parking! Redirect to a notice indicating the website is down for repairs! OMG, I was on the phone with them almost an hour that day because I could not login. I kept getting strange errors; so then, general customer service connected me to the “digital tech” department. The response from them, “Try again in about 4 hours.” Wow, what customer service. The bill was why I called.
Bill from HELL!
I will call it the bill from hell! $260 and mind you, it included January in it too! I will post below for all to enjoy. Remember, my service has been ended since December 19th at this point. So, why does the bill include the next months as well?

Update: Thought the chat was broke and eventually it did come back and Cristhian attempted to respond to me, but I was writing this post. Needless to say, then then closed the chat and I responded to questions in the after chat survey in a not to happy way. Finally, in a new chat window I did get in touch with Cristhian again.
